Goodbye, or rather, Au revoir (part 3)

Norrie's work (Mary's sister - how fortunate they are to do workshops together?)

Its all about the colour for Norrie
Gorgeous freeform flowers (page 91 Foolproof Crazy Quilting) and beaded pointed petals (page 82 Foolproof Crazy Quilting)

Norrie used the Chain feather stitch (page 71 Foolproof Crazy Quilting) very well against the buttons with beaded tassels (page 83 Foolproof Crazy Quilting).

I also like her double edged zigzag chain with the little flower sequins.

Beautiful simple use of buttons.

Norrie's elegant pearly spider (page 89 Foolproof Crazy Quilting) climbing over the chevron stitch.

Tiny little bees buzzing around the delphinium (page 83 Foolproof Crazy-Quilt Projects) one delphinium with ribbon stitches, the other with ruched ribbon roses  (page 90 Foolproof Crazy-Quilt Projects)

Oh, feather stitch, one of my favourite stitches - done so well by Norrie.

Buttons and feather stitch

Wonderful colour palette

Neat, even stitches

Interesting seam treatments

More feather stitch and a garland of silk ribbon flowers (page 35 Foolproof Crazy-Quilt Projects)

!!!!colour, colour, colour !!!!!
Sequin fun (page 84 Foolproof Crazy-Quilt Projects)
Buttonhole pinwheel (page 70 Foolproof Crazy Quilting)
tiny beaded leaves (page 80 Foolproof Crazy-Quilt Projects)

Always something new to see.

Busy but clean and clear.

Norrie was fun to have in a class - she has a thing for unicorns!!

Spider web  - not so easy to do (page 88 Foolproof Crazy-Quilt Projects)

I will miss Norrie and Mary.

Hopefully we will meet again.

Thank you so much for coming to my classes, Norrie.
Your work is wonderful.
Till next time
Jenny
