Crazy quilting by Martina
Martina had her first crazy class at the beginning of this year at the Patchwork Angel.
She arrived with batiks in all their hues ........................
Martina told me that she battled in the beginning of the workshops and felt like giving it up......................
Thank goodness she persevered - look at her work............
It is vibrant and so interesting - its hard to believe that these squares are only 6" x 6". Martina has packed so many interesting seam treatments and yet her lines are clear and strong.
Full of detail and texture..............
A beaded tree trunk and owl..............
Button shrub.............
Spider web, couched ribbon and not to mention the vase of flowers.
