Block keep - repurposed fabrics

My friend Cathy has been working on a block keep, so I decide that I needed one too. I have been working on a project with men's suiting and had lots of odd shaped offcuts. I chose to use them and some thrifted tapestry wool.

I kept the pocket detail from the jacket for a back pocket.

I added some covered cord to keep my thread in one place.

And voila, my block keep!
