Using up my bits - part 3

2018 is the year to use of my bits of stuff.  I had a few balls of sample yarn ................

Tiny little balls in a tiny basket...................

My friend Jane found a pattern by Debbie Bliss of a cute teddy.................

So, I used my bits and knitted this little fellow for Finn (my grandson) - an Easter gift.

A few years ago I made this trip around the world and gave it to my son and daughter-in-law.............

Naturally, I had bits left over.

I pieced them and looked through my stash of vintage buttons......................

And made two giant cushions.....................

Then a made three trivets from left over ShweShwe  fabric for my daughter who has just moved into a new apartment.

I loved how my hexie quilt looked reflected in the mirror of our bedroom - I made this a good 20 years ago.

Life is good.
