Feather stitch.... again!!
Because feather is my favourite stitch it is featured a lot in my work.
I used a silk thread and worked along the seam and added ribbon stitch leaves.
Nothing really very different here - except that the very fine feather contrasts well against the heavier little heart buttons.
Ribbon feather - embellished with tiny flower sequins and straight stitches.
Ruched ribbon roses are the base for the (pearl 5) feather and lazy daisy.
The pearl thread feather works well as the vine for the "grapes"...

Once again (pearl 5) thread - lazy daisy, extended french knots and beads....
Sorry this did photograph very well - because feather "turns corners" very well - it is ideal for hearts ......
