Dinosaurs, Knitting and Orts

I knitted a knee rug for my daughter a few weeks back. For some reason I do not like to throw away my orts (left over bits of threads and yarn)

While watching TV one night a rolled a handful of orts into a small ball - I loved how they looked.

So, I secured them with thread.

And I just LOVE them! Small things amuse small minds!!!!

Our sweetest little dinosaur obsessed grandson turned FOUR! A dinosaur quilt was needed....................

Hand quilting in the garden - or any stitching in the garden is such a treat.

All done and ready for posting - Covid spoiled the fun of me delivering it myself!!!!!!!!
