A ring pillow

My son is getting married and I am so excited about it all.
I have a few things that I need to make for the wedding - on top of the list is the ring pillow.
I collect all the goodies that I like and then I edit, edit, edit.

I marked the heart with a water soluble pen - not my favourite - but it was the best marker for the project. I started with the roses and then added the stems.........

Next a few beads, motifs and ribbon stitch leaves..................

A few stab stitches to soften the edges and a scattering of beads.

I auditioned a few options for the corners...............

I liked the plain look..........

Chloe, the bride, liked the flowers. So,
flowers it is.

I added the ribbon to hold the rings and all I have to do is sort out the corners and add a label to the back.

Up, close and personnel.

 

I am sooooo excited!
