The inspirationsl "Inspirations Magazine" crazy quilting.
I had very mixed feelings after Susan O'Conner from the beautiful "Inspirations Magazine" http://inspirationsmagazine.com.au/ asked if I would design a crazy quilting project for the magazine (86th edition). Firstly, I felt privileged and then I felt daunted (as the work featured in the magazine is of such a high standard).
After I scrapped my first attempt I settled down and got the job done. Susan also asked me to submit an article which I felt much happier about.
I wrote about my journey as I crazy quilter.................
A big thank you to Susan and Elaine from Inspirations Magazine.
There is a kit available for the project too.

Your work is such an inspiration. I have your book and made a very small hexie crazy quilt--used 7 blocks in a hexie formation. I was thrilled to receive a number of blue ribbons for the piece as well as an NQA Certified Judges award. I love your technique for finishing the blocks and hope, some day, to use it on other geometric shapes.
