Gail - this first seam treatment is for you.
Begin with a fly stitch - leaving quite a gap between each one - then add your bead - on one side add a lazy daisy with silk ribbon and one in thread to form the leaf for the bud - on the other side add three straight stitches (try not to make these too short). Goodluck!!
Jan - add a few ribbon stitches to your roses + bugle and sead beads + lazy daisy stitches moving away from the rose cluster to add movement and to use up space.

Jan - begin this fern type embroidery with stem stitch - then add ribbon stitches along the stems - but please don't do yours as "clumped" as mine - spread them out more.
