The Saturday girls........

Oh, The Saturday girls.  What an eclectic bunch...........

These words on Jacoba's bag describes them perfectly. We all went out for lunch again and as usual, besides the acoustics in the restaurant, a good time was had by all.

Lynnley bought in her evening bag ..............

Lynnley is still relatively new to crazy - but you would never think so...............

These two spiders are chasing a little butterfly..............

Beaded berries...............

This is the back of the bag..............

Well done Lynnley.

Gail is not one of the Saturday girls - but her black bag is completed.  The photos do not show how perfectly the zip is sewn in place!!!!

Breaking it down........2

Next 3 seam treatments - I added 3 button - 2 flower shapes which I beaded - and one heart shaped which I tied with a bow.
This seam I couched down organza ribbon - 2 pieces - I added some sequins later.

Beaded detail - faux pearl beads...........

Breaking it down...............

Foe the news girls - I will show you step by step how I made this little block..........
Begin with a single feather stitch - perle #8

Now add colonial knots - 4mm silk ribbon - then over the knots do as stab stitch - 4mm silk ribbon - the colonial knot under the stab stitches will give them more volume............

To complete the feather stitch - add ribbon stitch leaves and small seed beads.
Have fun.
